Rochko wrote that this is the difference between a centralized and decentralized platform. Twitter is a centralized platform, and it imposes arbitrary and unfair limits on what you can and cannot say. He also said that at Mastodon, there will not be a middleman between you and your audience. He is pointing out to journalists and government institutions that they don\u2019t have to rely on a private platform to reach the public. <\/p>\n
