Regional Leader Sales - Travel

Job Purpose

The primary function of the role is to generate and manage sales from the respective specified region. The role is to make sure that the respective region is generating sales as planned from an overall perspective and from a product-wise perspective (for example, making sure there is revenue coming from holidays, flights, and visas as well).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Make sure the revenue targets are achieved as per plan
  • Make sure that the products available in the region are competent as per market rates and service levels. (for example, needs to make sure that the service rates better and if not, liaise with the product team to make sure it is in line with competition)
  • Make sure that competent product are available as per market demand (For eg: If there is a specific destination that is popular, liaise with product team to create and launch such products)
  • Increase the expertise and network in the region to make sure that the brand is pushed and new hotel contracts, new local visa vendors, and Airline relationships are built in the local market.
  • Maintain local GSA (General Sales Agent) relationships (Management and Non-Management category)
  • Ensure there are enough web hits and marketing leads are generated to get the targeted revenue numbers with the proper liaison with the marketing department on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure that all leads, calls, messages, and chats are taken care of and converted with the proper liaison with the call center sales department.
  • Analyze the web hits on a daily basis and make sure targeted web hits are achieved.
  • Ensure all products and communicate as per local market standards and requirements with the proper liaison with the web team.
  • Ensure that new product demand is created and met in the regional market through collaboration with the product team.
  • Ensure all cases from the region are taken care of and sorted in the best possible manner so that the customer comes back with the proper liaison with the case management department.
  • Ensure that all pending refunds are taken care of and the customers are updated promptly with the proper liaison with the finance department.

Qualifications

Education: Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50%
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Travel domain

Working Conditions
  • Friday fixed off
  • Alternative Saturdays – Sundays are a normal working day
  • Sunday off and alternate Saturday off for Indian regions
